Collusion

It is a popular misconception that it is easier to collude online. However, the truth is, it's actually easier to detect collusion online vs. offline. The reason for this is the fact that we have access to all of the game logs of every player and any suspicious activity can be detected in real time as well as over a period of time. We will be using every tool available to us in order to detect and prevent collusion, and offenders will be permanently banned from playing at our tables. We are fully aware that two or more players may be sitting at different computers in the same room, or may simply be communicating by phone. Not only can they collude to raise the pot and drive out other players, but they can share the contents of their hands. In order to combat this, we have designed a series of special proprietary data processing tools. First of all, we will continually track the betting pattern of each player as well as the correlation between the play pattern of two or more players and their overall win percentage. Anyone whose win percentage is out of line is immediately placed under investigation. What this basically means is that we will be monitoring people (or groups of people) who tend to play together a lot in order to assure that they simply enjoy playing together and are not engaging in any attempt at collusion. We also have software that assists our security employees in warning whether a player is raising on a weak hand or folding on a strong one, suggesting the player might be colluding. In many cases, a manual investigation of the hand will probably indicate that the player may have made a mistake or was simply ignorant. However, if the question remains unresolved, we will immediately send an e-mail to the player notifying him that we are suspicious. If the suspicious behavior continues, the player will be banned from our card rooms immediately.

Customers
Our Customers are obviously our first line of defense and are always encouraged to notify us of any suspicious behavior as it happens. These notifications will immediately prompt our "eye in the sky" to look into the matter with intense scrutiny.

We take the matter of collusion very seriously and will use absolutely every tool necessary to maintain the ingegrity of our card rooms.

Should you suspect players acting together during play, please forward the game information (including the hand # or #'s, and the suspect's screen name) as well as your comments to: security@truemoneygames.com.

All In Policies Including Server Crash

When you put the last of your chips into the pot, you are considered to be "all-in". You cannot be forced from a hand if you don't have a sufficient amount of chips to call a bet. You are able to call for the amount that you have. The remainder of the bet is either returned to the player who made the original bet or a side pot is created if called by any number of other players.

Policy Regarding A Lost Connection or Not Acting On Your Hand

In order to protect your chips in the event of a connection problem, you are allotted a specified number of "time-out" all-ins per day. Your free disconnects are visible in the title bar of the table window. If you have at least one free disconnect left, and your connection is lost in the middle of the poker hand, then you will be considered "all-in". This does not mean that all of the money in your account will be placed in to the pot! Rather, it simply means that your hand will be played out with the amount of money that you have already placed into the pot for that given hand. If your cards go on to win that hand, then you are eligible to win a portion of the pot up to that point. The reason that you are only entitled to a portion of the pot is that you did not have to "call" the pot throughout the entire hand like everyone else at the table. A side pot is created and eligible to be won by the remaining players along with the entire portion wagered, depending on how the cards unfold. Remember though, this only holds true if your free disconnects are greater than 0. If you show 0 time-outs left and happen to time out for any reason, then your hand will be folded. The number of 'time outs' may change from time to time based on server conditions. Unless otherwise specified (e.g. they were used in backgammon), each player will begin the playing day with 2 All-In's.

The game server is able to determine connectivity to the client software running on your system. A player will only be put all in if disconnected from the server; if a player has not lost their connection to the server and fails to act on their hand, it will simply be folded.

Abuse of your All-Ins can result in being banned from the games. We reserve the right to ban anyone at our management's discretion. Jeopardizing our cardroom integrity is something we take very seriously. If you are suspected of abusing this policy, you will simply not be welcome.
