Step 4: Join the backgammon table and play !
The TrueMoneyGames backgammon table is the playing area.
- The menu items. They allow you to change the graphics, the sounds and other features.
- The chips table. Here you can see how much money is in play. It also displays two clocks per player. The clock on the left shows the amount of time you have per move. Once this clock has expired, the clock on the right starts to run on your extra time that you have per game. Once you have used up all your extra time, Snowie (the strongest backgammon software in the world, by SnowieGroup SA ) settles the position.
- The backgammon board.
- The bottom area allows you to choose several options and to take several actions.
- The € button allows you to bring more money to the table.
- The triangle button allows you to automatically start the next game if you play a money game session. If you play a match you have the rematch button in this section. This button allows you to automatically start the next match without leaving your table.
- Beavers: If you want to play with Beavers you may check this box. If your opponent also checks this box, the following game will be played with Beavers.
- Automatics: If you want to play with Automatic doubles you may choose this option. If your opponent also chooses it, the following game will be played with Automatics.
- The three main buttons allow you to take an action according to the given situation.
- Roll: You may check this box if you don't want to be asked whether you want to roll or double. You should only check it if your position is bad enough that you won't consider a double.
- Bear off: This checkbox will take checkers off automatically during a non-contact position. It will not do anything if there is still some contact in the position.
- The Chat box gives you the possibility to talk with your opponent or those watching.
